We are looking for a dedicated

to join our team in the cell culture laboratory. As part of our team, you will help to ensure the safety and quality of medical devices. We offer you the opportunity to work in a specialised environment and to develop your career.

Your responsibilities will include

• Conducting in vitro cytotoxicity tests in accordance with DIN EN ISO 10993-5 (e.g. XTT assay)
• Active involvement in the development of further cell culture-based assays for testing the biocompatibility of biomaterials and medical devices
• The proper and professional conduct of laboratory tests under aseptic conditions in the cell culture laboratory
• Care and maintenance of laboratory equipment and instruments
• Collaborating with other team members and experts to drive projects forward together
• Compliance with Safety Policies and Procedures in the Laboratory
• GMP-compliant testing and documentation of work steps in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025

What You’ll Bring to the Table

• Completed vocational training or a Bachelor’s degree in biology or a related discipline (biology laboratory technician, BTA, MTLA or Bachelor of Science in Biology (m/f/d))
• Ideally, experience in testing for in vitro cytotoxicity in accordance with DIN EN ISO 10993-5, as well as in sterile handling and aseptic working practices
• Erfahrung und Kenntnisse der relevanten Vorschriften
• Good Laboratory Practice and High Accuracy in Work
• Ability to work as part of a team and in an interdisciplinary environment
• A sense of responsibility and a commitment to quality and safety
• Willingness to pursue continuing education and adapt to new methods and technologies
• Proficiency in German at B2/C1 level, knowledge of English
• Recognition of your professional qualifications in Germany
