Accredited by the ZLG (Central Authority of the States for Health Protection with Regard to Medicinal Products and Medical Devices) according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 "General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories".
From the accreditation by the ZLG according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025, Guideline 93/42/EEC and 90/385/EEC in the areas of microbiologial-hygiene testing of medical products including sterilisation procedures and enivonmental monitoring (Register number: ZLG-P-959.96.02) GfPS is recognised throughout Europe as performing its testing according to these Standards in the named areas.

The GMP-Certificate certifies that we, as a pharmaceutical test laboratory, perform our microbiological quality control tests, in particular sterility testing and endotoxin testing, with regard to § 14 (4) of the German Medicines Law (AMG), and thereby strictly adhere to the requirements of the EC Guideline for Good Manufacturing Practice for medicinal products.
